Education outreach activities beyond campus
     
    1)On March 14, 2020 Center for the Study of Human Rights and Non-Violence of COPAG together with 40 Political Science students and Human Rights students went to a village in Ubonrat district in Khonkaen. There were 20 community members who came to join with the students. This project was held for students to learn about community forest and community areas that were affected by big corporations. 2)On August 21, 2020 at Naphopittayasan school in Gudrung district, Mahasarakham province, Fairness team (a student group at College of Politics and Governance) held a camp on the topic of violations of human rights of “Phee Noi” (illegal Thai workers in South Korea) in COVID-19 situation. This activity was organized by COPAG students led by college seniors with the supervision of Mr Thawatchai Pongsri, a lecturer in Political Science.

     
    This activity was aimed for COPAG students, school students and youth to realize the value of human rights and respect for human rights. It was also aimed to be a part in creating society that respects human rights and duties in order to bring back Thai society to be peaceful and democratic.
